The contents of a process or value stream serve an important purpose. Tasks, notes, attachments or the activities from linked processes help guide how a user follows the steps.
Sometimes it is crucial to concentrate on a single location, either while editing or while following the steps. This can be accomplished by using diagram content menu cards' expansion/collapse feature.
When opening a process or value stream all the content will be available. At the top right of the diagram content menu is a button which will read Collapse All. Selecting this will change the button to Expand All and hide all tasks, notes, attachments and linked processes' activities.
Individual cards can also be selected to expand or collapse. Cards that have content have a separator icon that sits above where the content is shown on the cards. The arrowhead pointing down indicates show more and up is show less.
Expansion or collapse is not a user setting. It is not remembered if you move away from the process or value stream you are currently on.
