The preferences button is a user setting, which means that each user can decide whether they want the preferences button to display on their map. The preferences button enables the display of data objects and data stores on the process map.

Quick Steps to Enable Preferences User Setting:

  1. Select your profile at the top of the page

  2. Select 'Profile'. The profile page will open up

  3. Select Configuration

  4. Set the 'Display Preferences button on maps' toggle on to display the preferences button on the map. Toggle off to hide it.

Note

  • The preferences button is available and shown in the same way (on/off) in the current state and the future state. If the button is on, data objects and data stores are shown in both the current and future state. This is because preferences are saved per user, per process.

  • If the preference is toggled on to display data stores and data objects on the map, the preferences button can be disabled and they will still remain visible. They will only stop displaying once the preference is toggled off.
