Below are some exciting changes and new fixes that will be released on 20 September 2025.

Features

  • We've added a company-level SmartFlow rule: 'Generate Glossary Terms'. A new tab in the update company popup lets administrators choose whether AI can generate glossary terms when creating a process with SmartFlow.

  • A high resolution SVG format of your process map can now be downloaded. The downloaded SVG file matches the light or dark mode you were using at the time of download. It contains only the map, making it ideal for teams that want to brainstorm and add notes as their ideas develop:

  • Triggers, inputs, and outputs are now available in the future state and can be modified independently of the current state. The preferences button to toggle the display of data objects and data stores on the map is also available in the future state.

Enhancements

  • Rename Profile page to Personal Settings.

  • Escalate feature in Outstanding Tasks report has been renamed to Follow-Up Notice for better clarity.

  • Enable URL search in existing attachment dropdown when adding an attachment:

  • In the Companies summary page, company permissions (editable only by ProcessPro) are now displayed as a subtitle and company settings have been added as a new column:

  • Retain user settings from the directory across navigation and login sessions, including filters, preview selection, and collapse/expand preferences.

  • Clarify error message to indicate SmartFlow action failed due to OpenAI being down.

  • Add a requestor column to the outstanding tasks report for quick reference.

  • Ensure manually added swimlanes are included in prints.

  • Clarify that roles need to be allocated within each company that a user is associated with.

  • Remove acknowledgement tasks when a role is removed from a process.

  • Position branch nodes more accurately in swimlane view.

  • Hide dropdown groups that don’t contain relevant objects when adding an item.

  • Increase minimum width of popups for easier viewing.

  • Allow duplication of process links.

  • Data objects and data stores sent to the global library are now handled and displayed correctly.

  • Prevent non-stakeholders from accessing deleted processes.

  • Add Due Date and Status column headings to the approval progress popup.

  • Redirect users to the login page when they access a URL from an original email link.

  • Password warning is clearer and easier to understand when password does not comply with minimum requirements.

  • Remove unnecessary change logs for valid attachment URL list added when other changes are made to a company.

  • Ensure review tasks remain available when overdue.

  • Remove unnecessary “Add” button from the Process Details page visible in mobile view.

  • Prevent alternate path lines from being moved in quickviews.

Technical Enhancements

  • Improve loading speed for the role allocation status report.

  • Upgrade to iText v9.2.0 for PDF generation.

  • Review and apply missing indexes identified by SQL Server.

  • Sanitize file directory creation.

  • Sanitize stored XSS edge cases.

  • Disable TaskUtils.AddExistingTasksForUser to prevent mismatches.

  • Resolve null issue within DataTableExportUtils.LoadApprovalActivities().

  • Optimize jsTree implementation for directory and process linking.

  • Fix error preventing new site creation.

Fixed Bug

  • Fix missing approval button on the view approval progress.

  • Restore attachment summary table when author is missing.

  • Fix error when setting an alternate path.

  • Complete all steps in correct order during duplication/transfer.

  • Keep branch nodes connected when the preceding node has no title.

  • Reinstate adding new tasks using the Alt + T shortcut.

  • Display nodes dragged from the import panel correctly on the map.

  • Redirect users correctly when deleting processes from the directory.

  • Fix diagram content menu transparency issue on Safari.

  • Ensure set progress works on process links with alternate paths.

  • Restore input and output icons on the diagram content menu for non-stakeholders.

  • Restore full title display on the redirect page for external user request details.

  • Corrected the display of the end point within and expanded process link.

  • Allow all attachment types to open from notes when included as links.

  • Prevent deleting within a process/value stream when the status is awaiting approval, archived, or deleted.

  • Ensure toggles on summary pages do not affect global search results.

  • Limit import panel sections to necessary information.

  • Fix “Convert to Process” issue for nodes also used in workflows.

  • Enable scrolling in the diagram content menu sidebar tabs.

  • Display note icon on decisions with custom connectors.

  • Validate date during publish to update to correct date and cycle.
