Role Associations

View where a role is assigned as owner, expert, informee, and to activities, as well as its role hierarchies and role families, in the Associations sidebar on the Roles summary page.

Administrators are able to view all role associations on the Roles setting page.

Quick Steps to View Role Associations

  1. Navigate to Settings, Roles

  2. Select the Associations icon next to the role. The Associations sidebar will open up displaying all associations:

    1. Owner - all objects (processes, value streams, manage documents, attachments) where this role is assigned as owner.

    2. Expert - all objects (processes, value streams, manage documents, attachments) where this role is assigned as expert.

    3. Informee - all objects (processes, value streams, manage documents, attachments) where this role is assigned as informee - this includes automatic and manually added informees.

    4. Map - two columns display, Object and Node. The title of the object (process, value stream, manage document, attachment) in which the role appear is listed under Object. All activities, process links, decisions and events to which the role is assigned, appears under Nodes.

    5. Hierarchy - if this role has a parent and/or child role associated with it, these will show in this tab. Sibling roles do not display.

    6. Family - if this role is part of a role family, the family(s) will display on this tab.

Note

  • A number badge displaying the amount of relevant associations shows on each tab heading

  • Object titles listed under owner, expert, informee, map are hyperlinks to the actual objects.
