This company-level setting, 'Block Unassigned Roles', can be enabled to prevent approvals, reviews or publishing when required roles are not assigned to users. This setting can be set whether approval is enabled for a company or not.
The system checks for any unassigned roles when an approval is requested, a process is published, or a review is due. If required roles are missing, an error is shown and the action is blocked.
Only administrators can enable and disable company settings.
Quick Steps
Select Settings
Select Companies
Select the company that you require
On the Details page, click in the Company Settings textbox. Different options will popup.
Select 'Block Unassigned Roles'
Select Update Company button
To disable, remove the setting from the Company Settings textbox and update the company.
