Mobile App
Below is a preview of the mobile app interface. Only published processes and value streams are available for viewing in the mobile app. When viewing a process, users can switch between the map view and the process steps view. Selecting an activity opens the associated task list.
Improved Ways to Build a Map
This enhancement improves the overall map creation experience by making maps more flexible, intuitive, and faster to build. Key improvements include:
Faster and more streamlined map creation through improved keyboard-assisted building functionality:
When creating a process, three default activities will already appear on the map. This makes the process creation experience more intuitive. Each activity displays the text “Double-click to edit” to guide users on how to start the creation process. This feature can be customised on company level.
Double-click/ press Enter on an activity to quickly edit its title in a smaller pop-up window. To update additional information, select Edit Details in the top corner to open the full details window.
When a new node is created, it will appear on the map with the default title “Double-click to edit”. This allows users to build the map quickly and add details later.
Use your keyboard to navigate the map more efficiently. In addition to existing shortcuts for creating activities, decisions, process links, and events, new shortcuts have been added. Use the arrow keys to move around the map, press Enter to edit a node title, and press Enter again to save it. When the Edit Title popup is open, use tab to move to Edit Details and Esc to close it without saving. On the map, press Delete to delete the selected node.
Support for nested decisions, allowing decisions within decisions:
The ability to move nodes freely on the map to adjust the layout and positioning.
Unlock the map to enable this function. Now you can drag-and-drop nodes to new positions. A coloured patch will indicate the possible landing positions:
Green is in the happy path
Yellow is in a gateway
Blue indicates in a branch
Orange indicates the path that leads out of nested decision
The right-hand side diagram content menu locks when the map is unlocked.
Once you are satisfied with the new positions, lock the map again to update the right-hand side diagram content menu.
Note
This is a preview of the upcoming features. As the map-building experience has been significantly updated, the revised help material will only be made available once the features have been officially released. The chatbot will also only be able to assist with these new features after release.
