Add a Node Using the Plus on Connector Lines

Plus icons appear on the map's connector lines that can be used to add a node (activity/decision/process link/event) in that exact spot.

Quick Steps

  1. On the map between nodes, hover over the connector where you want to add a new node. A green or orange plus icon will appear:

    1. Green plus sign appears between connectors. Select this one to add the node in this position.

    2. The orange plus icon appears where a branch can be added and within a branch. Select this one to add the node in this position.

  2. Hover over 'New'

  3. Select which node to add: activity/ decision/ process link/ event

  4. The new node will appear on the map in the selected position. It will be highlighted and titled 'Double-click to edit'.

  5. A few ways to edit the node:

    1. Press enter

    2. Double-click on it

    3. Right-click and select 'Edit'

    4. Select the magnifying glass, gear icon, 'Update'

  6. Fill in the relevant details and select 'Save'.
