Quality Score 'Cheat Sheet'

Follow these guidelines to achieve the highest possible quality score

Requirement for 100%

Process Structure

Keep the process between 3 and 8 activities/process links.

Process Title

Start the process title with a verb. If the verb is not recognised, add "the" as the second word (e.g. Review the application).

Activity Titles

Ensure every activity title starts with a verb and that all activities have a title.

Tasks

Add at least one task to the process activities.

Information Level

Add sufficient supporting information using tasks, notes, and attachments. Avoid activities with too little or too much information.

Title Length

Keep task and note titles under 100 characters.

References

Use linked attachments instead of web references where possible.

Objectives

Capture the process objectives.

Triggers, Inputs & Outputs

Add at least one trigger, input, and output.

Publishing

Publish the process and keep it current.

Swimlane Roles

Assign at least one user to every swimlane role (excluding service roles).

Owner Role

Assign at least one user to the process owner role.

Expert Roles

Add expert roles and assign at least one user to each expert role.

Note: Decisions, events, and gateway nodes are excluded from the quality score calculation. Their connected activities and process links are still scored.
