Description
The Snapshot is a dropdown menu on the Plan Detail Page that generates one-click reports built on the Dynamic Report engine. Instead of manually building a report, you select a snapshot type and get an instant view of your plan's data — ready for a leadership review, status meeting, or export.
Why Use Snapshots?
Building custom reports takes time. Snapshots give you pre-configured report templates designed for common Planner use cases — all goals in a table, KPI summary, or just the at-risk items. One click, instant report, ready to share.
Quick Steps
Generate a Snapshot Report
Open the plan from the Plans summary page.
Click the Snapshot tab in the plan header.
A dropdown menu appears with report options. Select the report type you need.
The report loads with data from the current plan.
Available Snapshot Reports
Detailed Goals
Generates a table of all goals belonging to the plan.
Uses default column layout with no filters applied.
Shows every goal — active, draft, completed — in a single view.
Use this when you need the full picture of everything in the plan.
Executive Summary Lite
Generates a KPI summary above the standard goal table.
KPI metrics include:
Total Goals — count of all goals in the plan.
Average Progress — mean progress across all active goals.
Overdue Goals — goals past their due date.
Completed Goals — goals that have been finished.
Use this for leadership reviews and executive-level reporting.
At Risk Goals
Filters goals to only those that are overdue, behind schedule, or off track.
Grouped by Focus Area, sorted by focus area order then due date.
Use this when you need to focus on what's going wrong, not what's going right.
Export Reports
Snapshot reports support export to PDF, CSV, and Excel.
Export respects the current configuration — filters, columns, sorting, and grouping are preserved.
Exported reports can be shared with stakeholders who don't have ProcessPro access.
Restrictions
Snapshot reports are plan-specific — each report shows data for the current plan only.
Reports are built on the Dynamic Report engine — column layout and filtering follow Dynamic Report conventions.
Export options depend on your organisation's ProcessPro plan.
Snapshot reports are generated on demand — they are not scheduled or automatically refreshed.
Important: Snapshot reports show the current state of goals at the time you generate them. They are point-in-time views, not live dashboards. For real-time monitoring, use the Dashboard Widgets for Strategic Plans or open the plan directly.
