This article covers additional Dynamic Forms features including dashboard widgets, dark mode support, form permissions, and submission page layout.
Dynamic Form Widget on Dashboard
You can display form submission data on your ProcessPro dashboard:
Quick Steps
Open a dashboard and enter edit mode
Add the Dynamic Form widget from the widget library
Configure the widget to show submissions for a specific form
Save the widget configuration
The widget displays recent submissions. Click on a submission in the widget to navigate directly to the submission details.
Dark Mode Support
The form designer fully supports dark mode / dark themes:
Enable dark mode in Personal Settings
Open the form designer — it loads in dark mode
Verify the following areas are readable with proper contrast:
Field palette — all field type icons and labels are visible
Canvas — fields are clearly visible with appropriate contrast
DCM — property labels, inputs, and buttons are readable
Form Permissions
Dynamic Forms respects ProcessPro's permission system:
Users with form edit permission can create, edit, and delete forms
Users with view-only permission can see forms but cannot:
Change form associations on processes
Edit form fields or properties
Delete forms
When a view-only user navigates to a process activity with an associated form, the form selection is disabled or the edit action is not available. The existing association remains unchanged.
Important: If a user cannot change a form association, verify their permission level. Form edit permission is separate from process edit permission.
Submission Page Layout
The form submission page is designed for a clean user experience:
The form occupies the full available width
Field labels and inputs are properly aligned
The layout adapts responsively to different browser widths without overlapping elements
Action buttons (Submit, Save Progress, Cancel) have consistent heights
On the review page, Approve and Reject buttons are visually aligned and the same height
Preview Title
When previewing a form, the preview title displays the actual form name — not a generic label like "Form Preview". For example, a form named "Employee Onboarding Form" shows that exact title in the preview.
