Overview
Every risk has an automated health indicator that assesses whether the risk is being properly managed. The health status is based on several conditions — rating, controls, owner, and review date.
Health Status Levels
Risk health is displayed as a colour-coded indicator:
Green — "Healthy" — the risk is in good standing
Yellow — "Needs monitoring" — there are issues that should be addressed
Red — "Needs attention" — there are critical gaps that require immediate action
Conditions for Green (Healthy)
A risk shows Green when all of the following are true:
A risk rating is set
All linked controls are active
The review date is not due soon (more than 30 days away)
Conditions for Yellow (Needs Monitoring)
A risk shows Yellow when any of the following are true:
No risk rating has been assigned (but controls are present and review is on time)
Some linked controls are inactive
The review date is due soon (within approximately 20–30 days)
Conditions for Red (Needs Attention)
A risk shows Red when any of the following are true:
The review date is overdue (in the past)
No controls are linked and no rating is set
Health Resolve Sidebar
Clicking the health indicator opens a sidebar that helps you resolve outstanding issues:
The sidebar lists each issue as a numbered step
Each step shows the issue title and an input field to address it
Fill in all required fields (e.g. owner, rating, review date)
Click Resolve All to save changes and close the sidebar
The health indicator updates to reflect the resolved state
If the risk is healthy (Green), the sidebar shows a "no outstanding items" message.
Important: Health is calculated on page load. After resolving issues, refresh the page to see the updated health indicator.
