Types of Notifications

There are several types of notifications. These can be seen via the notifications tile on the dashboard and on the left navigation screen.

When a primary owner and expert have been selected, only they will receive the notifications sent. However, if none have been selected all users assigned to the owner and expert roles will receive notifications.

Notifications will appear when:

A Process or Value Stream is published

When a user publishes a process or value stream, notifications are sent to stakeholders and roles assigned to activities.

NOTE: The user that publishes the process will NOT receive a notification

Feedback is submitted

When feedback is added, notifications are generated and sent to stakeholders and roles assigned to activities.

NOTE: The user that adds the feedback will NOT receive a notification

Owners are changed

When an owner is changed, both the old and new owners will receive a notification.

NOTE: The user that changed the owner, and any roles assigned to activities within the process, will NOT receive a notification

Process or Value Stream is deleted

When a user deletes an item, a notification is sent to the owners and experts.

NOTE: The user that deleted the process, and any roles assigned to activities within the process, will NOT receive a notification

Process or Value Stream is Restored from Deleted to Draft

When an administrator restores an item, a notification is sent to all stakeholders.

Authors are Changed

When an author is replaced or updated on a process, the process owner and the new author are sent a Notification.

Notifications are sent within the system only and can be found on the Notifications page. Only tasks are sent by email, not notifications.
