You need to be an administrator or have the view report permission to access the outstanding tasks report.

This report allows you to see the status of all outstanding tasks for a selected company, send reminders or escalate these outstanding task(s).

From the left navigation menu, click on the reports option and select outstanding tasks.

Tasks will be displayed on the report if their due date is within the next 30 days. Any due dates greater than 30 days will be hidden until they become active.

You can use the filter bar to search for a specific keyword or item that you are looking for.

To action tasks, click on the title. Users can only action tasks if the task is assigned to them.

You can export the outstanding tasks listed to three different files: PDF, Excel, CSV

  1. Select Export

  2. Select the desired format from the dropdown

  3. The file will download and can be located in your computer's downloads folder

Send Reminder

Send a reminder email to a task owner if their task(s) are outstanding and requires urgent action.

  3. Select the green Send Reminder button

  5. The user will receive an email reminding them of the outstanding task(s) that require urgent action

Escalate Task

A task escalation alerts another person, typically a line manager, that a task still needs attention. It is not an approval request. The person receiving the escalation cannot complete or approve the task; they can only follow up with the assignee. Or, if they are an administrator, they can manually override the task to move it forward.

The escalation appears as a notification in the recipient’s notification summary, as well as an email.

  1. Select the task(s) on which to send an escalation. Do this by clicking on the empty box before it.

  2. Select bulk change

  3. Select the green Escalate Task button

  4. Escalate Task popup will open up. Select the user to escalate to

  5. Select the green Escalate button

  6. The selected user will receive an escalation email informing them of the outstanding task(s) that require urgent action. They will also receive a notification in the system.

Note

A user cannot send a reminder or an escalation to themselves.
