As a stakeholder, you can ask another user to complete the steps inside one of your activities if the process or value stream has the following status: draft, offline, future state or approval declined. You can then convert the activity to a process if needed.

Quick Steps to Request Information

  • From within a process, select Activities on the right-hand side

  • Select the Request Details button

  • Set a due date

  • Select the user who needs to supply the information

  • Click on Add Task

The user will receive a task, and when they click on it, it will ask them to capture the details of the activity. They can click on the name of the process and this will open a quickview of the process. NOTE: this link will expire after 24hours.

To add the details for the activity, the User will need to click in the field and type in the details. To add multiple details, the user can click on the + or use ALT-T on their keyboard to add another field.

When the user submits the changes, the information will be captured as tasks in the activity.

The Request for Details feature is available in the following statuses:

  • Draft - available

  • Published - not available

  • Overdue - not available

  • Future State - available

  • Offline - available

  • Awaiting Approval - not available

  • Approval Declined - available

  • Private - available
