The directory is a filing area for all your processes, value streams, managed documents and attachments. It provides an overall picture of where all items are located. The directory is available to all users.
Certain functions are only accessible to administrators, such as updating, creating or deleting groups, processes, value streams, attachments, and managed documents.
The filter/search bar and filter toggles can help simplify the search for the item you are looking for. Toggles on the Directory page will not be remembered and will reset when you navigate away.
You can expand or collapse the groups in the directory list by clicking on the Expand/Collapse All button.
You can also choose whether to hide or display items by toggling the appropriate toggle in the top left of the screen.
Attachments will not be displayed if the Remove Directory Attachments permission has been added to the company you are currently in.
To preview an item in the directory, simply select it and a preview box will appear next to it. Access restrictions apply. If an item has a draft status, it can only be viewed by stakeholders (owners, experts and authors) and your company administrators. A user cannot view it but can request to be notified once the item has been published.
You can add new groups, processes, value streams and managed documents in the directory by right clicking on the group you want to add the item to and filling in the details. The item will not open and you will remain in the directory page with the new item added to the group you selected.
If you accidentally selected to create a new group, simply press the esc key on your keyboard to close and delete the new group you are in the process of naming.
You can drag and drop items to change the order or group they are in. To do this, click and hold on the item you want to move, drag it to the new location and release your mouse to drop it in that new location.
To open the item once you have found it, single click on the title or right click and select open.
Groups can be deleted if they do not have any items in them. Processes, value streams, managed documents and attachments can also be deleted. Right click on the item and select delete.
When viewing on a mobile device, with a width of less than 900px, you won't be able to move items between folders.
