Only a <a href="https://help.processpro.io/en/articles/6285515-stakeholders-and-informees">stakeholder </a>can change the gateway type or add a gateway label. 

A gateway label appears at the start of the gateway on the map. It is optional and is used to give users more information of what a gateway is about.

Right click/double-click on the gateway start or end node. 

1. The gateway start node is a yellow diamond that appears at the start of the gateway. 
2. The gateway end node is a white diamond that appears at the end of a gateway.

Click edit. Set Gateway Options card will popup.

Choose the gateway type from the dropdown menu.

2. Click edit. Set Gateway Options card will popup.
3. Choose the gateway type from the dropdown menu.
4. Add a gateway label if needed.
5. Click <b>Save Changes.</b>

<i>The maximum number of characters allowed in the gateway label is 75. </i>

Update the gateway type or add text to the start of the gateway to describe it.
