Set up Asana API Key

To export a process to Asana, the company you are currently in needs the Allow Export to Asana permission, and the user has to add the Asana API to their security settings.

Steps to set up User API Key in Asana

  1. Open your Asana instance

    1. If you haven't already created an Asana account you will need to do this first

  2. Click on your Profile icon in the top right and select My Settings

  3. Change the tab to the Apps tab

  4. At the bottom select Manage Developer Apps

  5. Click on Create new token

  6. Name the token

  7. Copy the Token you get given

Steps to add the Asana API Key into ProcessPro as a User

  1. Inside ProcessPro, click on Settings

  2. Enter API Key in Asana Access Token box

  3. Click Save

Steps to add Asana API Key in ProcessPro as an Administrator

  1. Inside ProcessPro, click on Settings

  2. Select Users

  3. Select the appropriate user

  4. Change the tab to Tokens

  5. Enter the API Key in the Asana Access Token box

  6. Click Save

API key tokens are encrypted at rest and cannot be copied from our database
