In a process or value stream map there are many different shortcuts you can use on your keyboard to quickly create a process.
Keyboard Shortcut | Action |
ENTER | Open current (highlighted) *node to rename it Save title. |
ARROW KEYS (up, down, left, right) | Move between *nodes on your map |
TAB | Move to the next textbox/option within the Update Title popup/modal. Move between fields on the Details tab within the Edit Details popup of nodes. |
DELETE | Delete the current (highlighted) node. |
ESC | Closes modals/ pop up screens. |
ALT-A | Create a new activity. |
ALT-D | Create a new decision. |
ALT-L | Create a new process link. |
ALT-T | Add/next task. |
ALT-I | Add input. |
ALT-O | Add output. |
ALT-U | Add trigger. |
ALT-G | Open set gateway options pop up. |
*Node(s) are the blocks on your map representing activities/ decisions/ process links/ events.
