Display Gateways, Decisions, Alternate Paths, Triggers, Inputs and Outputs in the Diagram Content Menu

Icons appear in the diagram content menu to provide a visual pathway while reading through the process steps.

As a user, who is viewing a process or value stream, you can clearly see the pathways from the diagram content menu using the icons related to gateways, decisions, alternate paths, endpoints, triggers, inputs and outputs.

The red text in the screenshot above shows the icons in the diagram content menu:

  • Gateways are depicted with a yellow diamond. If there are gateway group labels and row labels these are shown, otherwise the gateways are referred to by number.

  • A 'T', 'I' or 'O' icon shows when there is a trigger, input or output attached to the activity.

  • The green and red diamonds show the yes and no paths for a decision.

  • A left arrow shows an alternate path and details where that path is connected to.
