When you publish a managed document, process or value stream a historical record is saved into the history tab. This allows you to see how the historical versions looked in the past and allows you to make a past version the current version.

The historical version can be reinstated as the current version in a few easy steps.

Quick Steps

  1. Open the item

  2. Change the diagram content menu tab to the History tab

  3. Open the underlined version you want to reinstate

  4. Click on the green Reinstate this version button

When a historical record is reinstated, the status is changed back to draft. The version number will change to the next whole number and the managed document, process or value stream will need to be published again for all users to have access.

Managed documents will default back to the first default document type (policies) when restored. Ensure, if the type was different, to change it back to the type it had before publishing document for users to see.
