As an administrator, you can enable the Export to Microsoft Planner permission in the company details. If this permission is not enabled you will not be able to enter your access tokens into ProcessPro or export a process from ProcessPro to Microsoft Planner.
Once the permission has been enabled, follow the steps provided to gain access to the tokens you need to input into the required fields in ProcessPro.
Set up Application in Azure
Log into Azure as an administrator
Open Azure Active Directory
Add a new Azure Application
Click on App registrations
Click on + New registration
Enter a Name: ProcessPro Planner Integration
Account Type, Select: Accounts in this organization directly only
Do not enter anything in Redirect URL
Click Register
Once the Application has been registered, select API permissions in the left navigation menu
Add the following permissions:
Group.ReadWrite.All
Tasks.ReadWrite.All
User.Read.All
Confirm that they are added under Microsoft Graph, and the types are set to Application
Please note, it is very important that the permission type is Application AND NOT Delegated. Delegated permissions do not work in ProcessPro
Click on, Grant admin consent
Add a new application secret
From the left navigation menu, click on Certificates & secrets
Click on + New client secret
Description: ProcessProSecret
Expires: 730 days (24 months) - or any expiry date, but make a note to update when expired
Very Important: When the secret is created, copy the Value as this will not be displayed again.
Copy the Application ID, Tenant ID and Application Secret values, they are needed in ProcessPro when setting up the link between the two applications.
The first two can be found on the Overview and the Application Secret when the secret is created.
Inputting Tokens to ProcessPro
Once you have copied all your tokens, you will need to add them to the company details properties tab.
Add your three tokens to the relevant fields in ProcessPro. Your Application ID and Tenant ID can be found in the Overview. Your Application Secret should have been copied when you set it up as it cannot be accessed again.
To ensure the IDs have been added correctly, click on the Test Connection to Microsoft Planner button. Below are the three situations that will have different results:
If your IDs are correct and you are currently logged into ProcessPro with a user whose username does not match a user in your Azure tenant, then you should receive the following pop up:

If your access tokens are incorrect, you will receive this pop up, go through the steps above and ensure you save the correct tokens:
Click on the Update Company button to ensure all your valid tokens are saved.
Once the IDs have been entered, the fields cannot be left blank, in order to update your IDs you will need to save the new IDs in place of the old ones.
