As an administrator, you have the ability to create, edit and delete different attachment types for your current company. These attachment types will appear in the attachment summary screen to help users differentiate between the link types. There are two attachment types that are created by default:
Weblink
Linked Document
Create an Attachment Link Type
From the Settings click on Attachment Link Types
At the top select Add Attachment Link Type
Fill in the description and select the Add Attachment Link Type button
Your newly created attachment link type will be added to the list of types and can now be selected in the dropdown menu when creating link attachments.
Edit Attachment Link Types
Click on the description of a link type
The Update Attachment Link Type pop up will open
Change the description and click Update Attachment Link Type
The edited attachment link type should be changed and will appear as the updated type in the dropdown when creating link attachments.
Deleting Attachment Link Types
Click on the checkbox of the link types you want to delete
Click the Delete button at the top of the page
Only link types that have not been used when creating a link attachment can be deleted. You will need to remove the link type from the attachments before the type can be deleted.
