The review date of processes, value streams, managed documents and attachments can be edited during the creation process or prior to publishing/requesting approval to publish.
The review date can only be changed when the status of the object is draft or approval declined. This ensures that the set date remains until purposefully changed.
Quick Steps to Set the Review Date when Creating a New Process/Value Stream/Managed Document/Attachment
Create a new object
Change to the Properties tab
Select the review cycle
Select the review date
Save the object
If the review date has been incorrectly set, amend it by taking the object offline and then reinstating it to bring it back to a draft status. Once in draft, the review date can be changed by following these steps:
Quick Steps to Change the Review Date of an existing Process/Value Stream/Managed Document/Attachment
Open the object (Process/Value Stream/Managed Document/Attachment)
Select the Edit Information button at the top
Change to the Properties tab
Select the review cycle
Select the review date
Save
Note
Attachments can have their review date changed in both active and overdue status.
The review date of a future state cannot be changed. It will be set once the future state is published.
To change a process with an overdue status to a draft status, the process would need to be taken offline and then reinstated.
Exception: Ahead of the review date, updates are made and the process is republished. The review date is then adjusted based on the review cycle from the new publish date.
If an object is published without setting the review date manually, it will automatically be set to one year from the date of publish with an annual review cycle.
