What is a Node?
In ProcessPro, a node refers to an activity, process link, event, or decision point within a process map. Nodes are the objects on the map that contain each activity/decision/process link/event:
Numbering Nodes
Stand-alone nodes, also referred to as parent activities, events and process links, are given whole numbers (1, 2, 3, etc).
Decisions start with a whole number. This number cannot be seen on the map or the diagram content menu. Any linked activities or process links will have a decimal that corresponds to its position below the decision.
Any child activities or process links will have a decimal that corresponds to its position in the branch (x.1, x.2, x.3, etc).
When activities, process links, events and decisions are rearranged, the numbering will update according to their new position on the map.
