Reset a Map to Default View

When moving nodes within a map, the map can become very messy. Simply click on the reset button to revert all changes back to default view.

When moving items (activities, decisions, process links, processes, swimlanes and roles) within a process or value stream map, the map can get very messy and difficult to read or understand. Resetting the map to its default view will revert the map back to its default view to either start again or leave as is.

As an administrator or a stakeholder on a process or value stream, you will see that a padlock has been added beside the zoom bar within the map area. This padlock signals whether your map is locked or unlocked to move items around. When the map is unlocked, the reset button can be seen between the padlock and the "Zoom to Fit" button.

Any connections that have been manually changed will revert to their default state when the reset button is used.

Note: The reset button will reset everything that has moved, including alternate paths. Nodes do not need to be moved for the reset button to be visible.
