What is an Author?

There are many different stakeholder types and one of these is the author.

Written by Hylet Pistorius

An author has the ability to create attachments, managed documents, processes and value streams depending on the permissions they have been given. The Author is automatically set to the specific user who created the object (process, value stream, managed document, or attachment).

The author can search for and edit anything that they created so that they can make any necessary changes when needed.

There can only be one author, and if deleted, this user will lose their editing rights and be removed from the author field. The author field will now be blank on that object. However, the details are recorded in the change log for reference.
