As a stakeholder on a managed document, process or value stream, you will receive a notification when the review date for the item is within 30 days. You will need to either update the item or review it. If you have the process approval workflow enabled on your company, using the process review button will change the status of the process from overdue to published.

On the action menu, there is a button called Confirm Review. This button can be used to publish a managed document, process and value stream, without the need for the process to go through the approval workflow. This should only be used when there are no changes required on the process, and the process needs to be published for the next review period.

If you are making changes to a managed document, process or value stream, please do not use this button. Instead, use the Publish or Request approval to publish your changes.

When you receive a review task, follow these steps, if no changes are required, to publish

  1. Click on the Task in the task summary

  2. Click on the Actions icon in the diagram content

  3. If there are no updates, click Confirm Review

  4. The task will be removed from the task summary

NOTE: If a review passes the date set in the properties it becomes overdue. You can still review and make necessary changes to it. The task will become an overdue task and the status will change to overdue.

If a managed document, process or value stream has become overdue, when the confirm process is done the new review date is set from the day the process was reviewed.
