As an administrator, you are able to create a role hierarchy for a company, which will be reflected in the organisational structure screen.
Navigate to settings where the role hierarchy tab is located. Once selected the screen will show the top level groups, and a list of all the roles, for the company you are currently in.
Associate Group Owners
The first step is to select which role will be the group owner. There can only be one role as the owner in a group:
Select the role you want to be the group's owner
Drag and drop the role so that the arrow is directly beside the group name
Once dropped the name of the role will appear just below the group
If the role is dropped slightly off of the group a yellow pop up will appear to notify you that you need to assign the role to a group or a role. Look for the green tick as you are moving your roles to show when to drop the role.
Associate Role Parents
The group owner will be the top level of any other roles assigned to the group. You can have multiple child roles assigned to a parent. If you try to make a child the parent you will receive an error.
