As a user, you can view your company's organisational chart by selecting the option from the left navigation menu. This feature is enabled by default and can be disabled at a company level.

This view shows you the organisational chart of the current company you are in. You can only see the chart of your current company. You will be able to see all the roles and users associated in the chart view. Roles will only appear in the chart if the initial parent role is assigned to a group. The group will not show in the organisation chart.

1 role can be associated to the company level. The card on the chart will look similar to the others, however there is no settings for this card. To add a role to the company level, open the role hierarchy (as an administrator), drag and drop a role to the company level. This role must not have any children assigned to it. The role can have multiple users associated, however, only one user name will display on the card.

A gold card will display if a role does not have a user associated to it and will state "No associated users" in the card where the user's name will appear. Simply associate a user to the role to make the card the same colour as all the others.

If more than 1 user is associated to a role, there will be a + below the first user's name. Hover over this + to view a list of all users associated to the role.

The numbers in the bottom right corner show the number of process or value streams the role is associated to as either the owner or an activity role.

There is a cog on all cards, administrators have access to edit roles, associate users, view associations and change the parent role. The options allow administrators to do the following:

  • Edit role: Edit the role title, cost per hour, parent role and display colour

  • Associate user: Select users to add to or remove from the role

  • View associations: View processes, value streams and managed documents associated to the role you selected

  • Change parent role: change the parent of the selected role to a new role

Users with the Create Role permission have access to edit roles, view associations and change the parent role. The options allow users with the create roles permission to do the following:

  • Edit role: Edit the role title, cost per hour, parent role and display colour

  • View associations: View processes, value streams and managed documents associated to the role you selected

  • Change parent role: change the parent of the selected role to a new role

Users that do not have the create role permission can only view associations. The options allow users to do the following:

  • View associations: View processes, value streams and managed documents associated to the role you selected
