ProcessPro offers many ways to build a map. The fastest way is to use your keyboard to add the nodes with their titles. This method of map building can be used while the map is locked or unlocked. When the map is unlocked, nodes can be seamlessly dragged and dropped into new positions during editing.

Use the <a href="https://help.processpro.io/en/articles/6452918-keyboard-shortcuts">keyboard shortcut </a>(ALT-) to add nodes (activities, decisions, process links, events).

Type ENTER to open the Update Title popup of the node that was just created.

Type in the new title and type Enter. The new title will save. OR press TAB and ENTER to open the Details window and add details.

Use your keyboard arrows to move between nodes on the map.

Press DELETE to delete the selected node.

Press Escape (ESC) to close a popup window.

1. (Optional) Unlock your map.
