Repeaters are a special field type that allows you to create repeatable sections within your form. They are useful when you need to capture multiple instances of the same data - such as line items, attendees, or incident details. Each repeater can contain its own set of child fields.
What is a Repeater?
A Repeater is a field that lets users enter the same type of information multiple times within a form.
For example, an Incident Details repeater could include fields for Date, Description, and Severity. Users can then add as many incident entries as needed, with each entry using the same set of fields.
Quick Steps to Add a Repeater with Child Fields to a Form
From the left panel, drag the Repeater field onto the canvas
The repeater appears as a chip on the canvas, like any other field
The right-hand side diagram content menu opens. Complete the details and properties.
Select the Repeater Fields tab on the right. The table displays any previously added child fields. If no fields have been added, the table is empty.
Add Child Fields:
Select the plus icon. Repeater field card pops up.
Fill in the child field details, properties and rules (if applicable) as you would any other field. To read more about how to add these, visit this article.
Select Save. The child field will display in the table.
Add as many child fields as needed.
Important: Child fields within a repeater are specific to that repeater. They cannot be shared across different repeaters.
