Below are some exciting changes and new fixes that will be released on 27 April 2025.

Major Features

More Bulk Change Options

We are pleased to introduce an enhanced bulk change feature that brings greater efficiency to managing processes, value streams, managed documents, attachments, ownership reports, approval requests reports, and users and roles. With this update, it is now possible for administrators and stakeholders to select multiple items and make updates without the need to open and edit each record individually. This improvement significantly enhances the management of large data sets.

Decisions Improved

We’ve made updates to the decisions functionality by refining the interface to improve usability and the overall user experience. The new design is more intuitive, making navigating and interacting easier.

Export of Datatables

The export functionality has been added to even more pages across the platform. This enhancement makes it easier to extract and work with data outside the system, supporting better reporting and analysis.

RACI Matrix

The RACI matrix is a project management tool designed to define and communicate roles and responsibilities within a team by allocating RACI roles to each stakeholder (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed). The RACI matrix is available to view for any process and value stream. It is found in the stakeholder tab

Additional Features

  • Updates to activity types to improve clarity:

    • 'Static Activity' has been renamed to 'User Activity' to better reflect that this activity is performed by a person.

    • A new type, 'Manual Activity', has been added to represent tasks that are manually completed.

    • Existing activity types — Approval Activity, Automated Activity, and Database Activity — remain unchanged and continue to be available.

  • Removed process link types.

  • Rename loopback options to 'alternate path' and make available as a tab on the activity/decision/process link partial.

  • Create a new area for the add buttons on the map allowing these to be minimised and not interfere with content on the map.

  • Update to Plus (+) Icon Functions. The system now features color-coded plus icons to indicate different actions:

    • Green Plus (+): Use this to add a new node directly on a connector line. It’s perfect for inserting a step in the middle of a process.

    • Orange Plus (+): This allows you to add a new node that branches off from an existing one. Used for creating alternate paths or decision points.

    • Blue Plus (+): This is used to expand or collapse linked processes. Click it to see more details or to simplify your view.


Enhancements

  • Allow multiple nodes to be moved at once.

  • Improve the validation of linked managed documents to include a message and a button to open a link that cannot be displayed in an iframe.

  • Remove created by and updated by column information when filtering on the user summary screen to allow administrators to narrow down their searches.

  • Exclude informees from stakeholder filter on process list report.

  • Add an API to create a task.

  • Add an API to upload a managed document.

  • Implement a new status called 'completed' on managed documents. This status is used when managed documents are imported via API or uploaded, and they don’t need to be reviewed or published.

  • Display managed document type on the associations tab. The type of item that has been associated will be displayed as a subheading on the association tab.

  • Ensure the future state informees/activity roles are notified when a future state is published.

  • Hide 'Generate Tasks with AI' when company setting is disabled.

  • Ensure stakeholder without add process permission cannot create a process through extraction.

  • Reflect informees on stakeholder information when restoring historical records.

  • Enable moving of a collapsed process link after expansion.

  • Remove currency symbol ($) from time and cost analysis to accommodate for any currency.

  • Allow the allocated colour of note content to display across printed pages.

  • Provide additional information about user interaction through the inclusion of total object clicks in the user summary export.


Technical Enhancements

  • Enhance performance when bulk deleting roles.

  • Improve handling of anomalies in the User Summary table.

  • Fix issue where tasks linked to a stakeholder fail to add.

  • Enhance SSO login error handling.


Fixed Bugs

  • Fix filtering by offline status not working on reports and search.

  • Show process links notes on printout.

  • Allow duplication of nodes that are part of a branch.

  • Resolve issues printing value streams with underlying processes.

  • Recognise moved map nodes and components on the printed PDF.

  • Align location of swimlane lines on the printed map with the map in the application.

  • Fix error when actioning feedback tasks.

  • Enable popup to open when selecting the gateway entry/exit points.

  • Handle dynamic role family creation when reinstating history record.

  • Preserve branching when extracting a process with a decision point.

  • Fix error logging in with SSO and email validation.

  • Resolve error when creating nodes within a gateway (green plus).

  • Resolve error when saving process level notes and attachments.

  • Handle Microsoft Planner validation before creating a company record.

  • Ensure red triangle for displayed map notes remains visible to admins and stakeholders when the "Display to non-stakeholders" toggle is off.

  • Ensure all hover elements on the map are interactive.

  • Exclude deleted company settings when building the Company datatable.

  • Ensure the company selector updates when the company logo changes.

  • Ensure the company selector updates when the company name changes.

  • Import roles belonging to a role family when importing from the library.

  • Display stakeholder roles on library imports.

  • Retain user roles in other companies when they are changed in the current company.

  • Prevent duplication in filter fields when a filter is saved.

  • Retain datatable sorting when a reload occurs.

  • Prevent deletion of roles only associated with private processes.

  • Fix issue where the 'Create New Role' button disappears when clicking the parent role field while editing roles.
