Quick Steps to Create a Filtered Share

  1. Create/select which tag will be used in the filtered tag share

  2. Tag the selected nodes (activities/ process links/ events/ decisions)

  3. Select Share at the top of the map

  4. In the field 'Filter Tags', select the tag(s) to filter

  5. Select 'Save'

  6. Open the link to view/ copy the link to share.

Make use of the tags tab in the right-hand diagram content menu to view all tag associations within the process.

The Following Applies to Shares with Filtered Tags:

  • Only the filtered nodes will display on the map and in the diagram content menu in the share.

  • Node Numbers: The nodes in the filtered share will be renumbered, starting from one, following the node numbering standard.

  • Gateways: If a node(s) in a gateway is tagged, the gateway start and end nodes will display in the filtered share, alongside the tagged node(s).

  • Branches: If a child node in a branch is tagged, the parent node will be included in the filtered share, even if it is not tagged.

  • The following objects associated to the filtered nodes and associated to the process in general will display on the share:

    • TIO's (triggers, inputs and outputs).

    • Feedback and replies.

  • Custom positions will be removed in the share.

  • Custom created swimlanes will display in the share.

  • The share will be saved just like any other share. If a tag is updated after the share has been created, the tag used in the share will be updated accordingly.

  • A tag used in a filtered share can only be deleted when associated shares has been deleted - read more here.

  • A filtered share can be printed like any other share, but the footer will show which tags are included by stating: “Printed for {tag names}”.

  • A high-resolution SVG image of the shared map can be downloaded.
