Add a Process Link

Linked processes show the connections between processes and value streams. Setting progress allows other users to see the overall progress.

Quick Steps

  1. Open the process or value stream that you want to link a process to

  2. Select Add Process Link by any of the following methods:

    1. Click the process link button found top left of the map

    2. Hover over the connector where you want to add the process link. A green or orange plus sign will appear, click on it. Green plus sign appears between connectors in the happy path. The orange plus sign appears when a branch can be added.

    3. On the right-hand side diagram content menu, a plus sign appears between activities. Select the one where you want to add the process link.

  3. Add your process link title. If you want to have a different title than the title of the linked process, then add your title in this field. Leave this blank if you want to use the title of the linked process.

  4. Choose the role responsible for the process link

  5. Select the process you want to link to

  6. Click Add Process Link to save the details

  7. The process link will be added to the map

When adding or updating a process link, the version number of the process or value stream will increase.

Navigate to a linked process from the map or the diagram content menu.
