Users that want to connect through the API network have to make sure that the API connection is enabled for their organisation. This is a company permission and can only be applied by the ProcessPro team. Please contact support if you are unsure if your subscription allows API connections.
To access your security settings select your profile picture at the top right of the page. Then select the Profile and then click on the Security button.
Generate a token
Click on the Generate Token button to generate a new token
Copy the token and use it to authenticate the user in any API calls to the database
All calls will generate a record that is viewed in the API call history table.
If the company you are in does not have the API connection enabled, you will not be able to access the copy and generate token buttons. Your screen will look like this:
