Quickviews are accessible links created by users within ProcessPro that can be distributed to internal users or external users that do not have a ProcessPro account. Users of the quickview can see the details of the item that is shared with them based on the configuration settings set by the creator.

As a user of a process, value stream or managed document, you can create multiple quickviews of the item to share with other users.

Viewers can see the process steps or document details, triggers, inputs, outputs, associations, and view and submit feedback.

When creating a quickview, we have added a preview to the configuration settings pop up to guide you while changing the settings. This preview is not a copy of your current process, value stream or managed document, it is a dummy information for you to use to see the specific changes. As the toggles are changed, the preview will update to accommodate.

Quick Steps

  • Open the item you want to share

  • Click on the Share button above the title

  • Select the configuration settings for the display

  • Click on the green Save Changes button

  • Click on the Copy link

    • The icon beside Copy link button will open the quickview in a new tab

The information to the left in the share is dummy data for users creating or editing the link to see what the configuration settings will look like.

To access already created quickviews, open the Shared Links tab within your item to see a list of all the created quickviews. Click here to find out more.

When items are duplicated or transferred, the shared links will not be included on the new records. Restoring a historical record will update the current shared links to have the restored map or document.

The system engagement report will count all the views between all the quickviews as one record per user for the specific item.

Note:

  • The time and cost timeline will not show on the quickview, even if it is enabled on the current map

  • The map on a quickview/ shared link cannot be edited
