What is the Screen Recorder?
The Screen Recorder is a browser extension that captures your actions as you work through a process in your browser. It records each click, navigation, and input — turning your workflow into a structured set of steps with screenshots that can be imported directly into ProcessPro as a process guide.
Why Use the Screen Recorder?
Writing process guides manually is time-consuming and error-prone. The Screen Recorder eliminates the guesswork by:
Capturing every step — clicks, form entries, and page navigations are recorded automatically
Generating screenshots — each step includes a screenshot of what you did
Creating structured output — recordings export as step-by-step guides ready for import into ProcessPro
Reducing rework — no more going back to re-document a process you already know
How It Works
Request ProcessPro to enable the Screen Recorder setting for your company.
Install the Screen Recorder browser extension (Chrome or Edge)
Start recording from ProcessPro Settings or while editing a process
Perform your workflow — the extension watches and captures your actions
Stop recording when you're done
Review and edit the captured steps — crop screenshots, rewrite descriptions
Import the recording into ProcessPro as a new process or add to an existing one
Note: The Screen Recorder captures browser actions only. Desktop applications, file uploads, and system-level interactions outside the browser are not recorded.
Browser Support
